For Immediate Release: May 6, 2008 PLYBOO INTRODUCES NEOPOLITAN™ FLOORING, PLYWOOD
San Francisco – Plyboo has introduced an exciting new line of bamboo flooring and architectural bamboo plywood.
Called Neopolitan™, the offers a wild color pattern with exceptional durability and very low VOC emissions. The products will be available urea formaldehyde-free by this spring.
“If you’re looking to make a statement, Neopolitan delivers,” said Dan Smith, president and founder of Plyboo. “It can handle the toughest retail or residential environment, and the last word to describe it would be boring.”
Neopolitan flooring is available prefinished or unfinished in dimensions of 3/8”x3-_”x36” or 9/16 x 3 _” x 72”. Neopolitan plywood is offered unfinished and sanded to 180 grit. The plywood can be treated to meet a Class A fire rating and is produced in dimensions of _”x30”x72 (3-ply), _”x30”x72” (3-ply) and 4mm x30”x72” (single-ply).
Neopolitan products contribute points toward the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Credit MR 6: Rapidly Renewable Materials and, by spring 2008, Credit EQ 4.4: No Added Urea Formaldehyde.
